2013 - April Silaturahim - Jones Bridge Park

 

1st SIlaturahim of IKMIA Comittee's 2013-2104 program. A new format of the agenda which include wirid, Al Quran and translation reading, kultum and brother Dr. Azaibi lecture, sholat dhuhur and lunch. We are looking forward for another successful year. 

2013 - June Weekend Retreat - Red Top Mountain State Park, GA

 

Just having fun a two-day outdoor activities. Some of us stayed in the lodge while some opened large tents in the camping ground. The second day, we learned basic CPR from brother Angel and janazah perparation from brother Dr. Azaibi. We played soccer, BBQ-ing and sholat dhuhur in the park together.     

2013 - Ramadhan Iftar with Gus Reza Syarief Iftar Ramadhan - Mas Jon Residence Doraville, GA

 

Our special guest lecturer, Gus Reza. We like to thank him for his motivational spiritual lecture. He also asked IKMIA members to lend hands for the children of Ambon whom had lost or displaced from their parents due to recent violence in the region. IKMIA members responded with their pray and donation.   

 

 

2013 - August Halal Bi Halal - Jones Bridge Park

 

After completing Ramadhan fasting, another great and fresh start for our deed.  We all had a joyful day. Eid Mubarak! We hug and shake hands to ask forgiveness to all brothers and sisters for any mistakes made in the past.  Everyone enjoyed the delicious cuisines, stage shows and lectures. Allah giving us a chance to improve our Ukhuwah Islamiyah in the upcoming year, Insya Allah.

2013 - September Indonesian Annual Fall Festival in Atlanta

 

It was a great day for outdoor activities. The event included bazaar, consular services and performances such as live band, traditional dance etc. IKMIA participated in opening a bazaar stand. The bazaar offered affordable Indonesian foods and beverages. Some members actively supported consular services for passport related matters, 2014 general election voter registration booth and others involves in coordinating the event facilties.
